Message	Craftsman 1/2" rated at like 180 ft-lb (not the cheapie that comes with the craftsman 30 gallon compressor either) couldn't budge the crank bolt on my Civic. I had to borrow my buddy's 3/4" Porter-Cable impact that is rated at 800 ft-lb to get it loose. Granted it was overkill, as the impact didn't even stop on the first hit on the bolt, and spun it right out. Rule #1 - There's always a bastard!
